I am also a writer, and often write articles and stories for different publications.  My autobiography THIS IS LIVING was published by New American Library (Penguin) in May 1991.  This book was also published in Australia by Michael Joseph, and in Great Britain where it appeared under the title DIET FOR LIFE.  Both versions appeared in paperback.  I wrote my first play Shakespeare For My Father  in 1993, and have completed a second play The Mandrake Root.  2006 saw the debut of my third play, Nightingale.  In 2008 I performed a reading of my lastest play, Rachel And Juliet.

In 2004, I collaborated with my daughter, Annabel Clark on "Journal: A Mother and Daughter's Recover from Cancer".
